Clover Park (26th and Ocean Park Blvd.), Santa Monica
SM  Fest  info - http://www.arts.santa-monica.org

This fun day featured music and dance from around the world on two stages, alot of stuff for kids to do, food booths and alot of eco info booths on how to help to create a more sustainable WORLD. I had an artist booth featuring the SOS series in the International Marketplace which featured mostly vendors with items from around the world and local jewelry craftspeople. Attendance to the festival was huge and I was very pleased with reactions of people, especially kids who really seem to get into it. The day gave me alot of food for thought and also showed me a bigger picture of where the series could go. I had created another 100 new small pieces for this show.

Downtown Cindy by Douglas Turner. another booth artist (cool work!) at LA Art Fest

Way cool three day fest produced by the wonderful Julie Rico. My artist booth on Saturday and Sunday was right at the corner of Traction and Rose. I didn't have any display racks so I just brought the small pieces and a few crosses to show them off and layed them on the street and on file boxes. LOL. It looked like a yard sale. Got to meet alot of creative artists which added to the fun weekend There's an electric energy Downtown that I find really inspirational. The crowd was nice and seem to get the art. One of the sales I made was 4 pieces to the set decorater for the new show "The Comeback" starring Lisa Kudrow who said they would install them on the  set.  YEA! Besides artist booths this festival also featured art installations, an art gallery, food vendors, a music stage and lots of performance artists.
